Why does the St. Augustine grass die?

 

There are several reasons. Lack of water, too shady or not enough sunlight or you might have chinch bugs.

What is the recommended cut length for St. Augustine?

 

It is recommended at least 4 in. If cut too short this will cause stress on it and will die.

When is it recommended to fertilize your lawn?

 

It is recommended at the end of the winter and at the end of fall.
